His work in 2013 on Large-scale Land-based Investments in Ghana helped to understand clarify grey areas of the subject. In 2010, his work on Technical Solutions to Water Quality Improvements on the Subin and Odaw rivers in Ghana using the contingent valuation technique helped to appreciate Ghanaians attitude towards pollution of water bodies. In 2007, he helped to explain why Mortgage Institutions are not functioning well in some developing countries including Ghana and how selective government interventions can help improve their performance.
Gad Asorwoe Akwensivie holds a Doctor of Business Administration with specialization in Real Estate Finance, MSc. Environment & Development, MBA Finance, BSc. Land Economy and LLB. Laws degrees. He is an alumnus of the University of Leicester, University of East Anglia, Norwich, and London College of Management Studies in the United Kingdom, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology - Kumasi and the GIMPA Law Faculty, Accra Ghana. He is also a cancer volunteer, scholar of the American Cancer Society University and Board Member of the African Cancer Organization. Gad belongs to the Ghana Institution of Surveyors, African Real Estate Society (ARES) and the Association of Business Executives (ABE). He is the author of the Hand Book on Land, Property and Estate Management in Ghana.
